Sears Point (Infineon , etc., etc, etc.) Raceway, near San Francisco is at the base of a mountain. Well, really big hill.
Anyway, it is steep and mostly grassy and vacant.
A great location for a 4X4 hillclimb course.
I'd think Land Rover, Jeep, Toyota and the rest could work with the landowner and put in a school, track, etc.
How about giving them a holler and suggesting it.
Would you pay to use something like that?

I live in Montana. All we have in the south west part where I live is mountains including the rockies . Don't need more places to climb. What I would like to see is more sponsership creating compitition climbing. We used to have a guy leased his hugh swamp out to a 4x4 club for years. There was several routes maped out through, aroung and just all over it . Was set up for all to be able to partisapate from the old 67HP universal to the super duper hoped up big boys toys. This was by far the best event in the state for years and years . Then the owner sold the place. New owner posted the property and refused to alow the races. Keep in mind the former owner was well paid plus a month after the event was over there was no sign a wheel ever touched the place . All messes were cleaned right down to the cig butts . such a shame Very big money maker with all profets going to Homeless kids and other needy kids situations

So many problems .... So little time
