I was curious what size tires i can fit on my truck? I have 245 70 16 right now and was lookin at some 265 75 16 and i think they will. Curious how much lifts would cost and to install and if worth it ya think.
Thanks for the help.

I think 265/75R16's should fit no problem if you have a 4x4. My 3" body lift cost about $650 to install + cost of kit (~$200). Well worth the money, I love it. I have 305/70R16's.

My truck came with the P265/70R16 ('01 qaudcab 4X4) 2 1/2 years ago I went to LT265/75R16.

No problems. No rubbing or any other observations. The tire gave me another 1/2 inch ground clearance.

A body lift is super easy to install yourself, save the money and get a buddy to help it should only take 4-7 hours.

It'll take you about 8 hours to put the kit on properly and you can buy a 3" body lift made buy performance accesories for about 240 canadian. the kit requires a few hand tools, a floor jack and a cut off wheel to modify the lower fan shroud and the splash shield. another thing, buy the gap gaurds for inside the inner fenders. makes the truck look stock when you look at if from the side. with the three inch lift you should fit 285/75/16 with a little rubbing on the inner fender near full turn

Yea no way would I spend 400 for someone to install a Bodylift. I got my lift for about $200 and did it my self in about 10hrs and I'm a small guy. No experience really needed. Just follow the instructions and you'll be good. Have a buddy help and cut the time in half, slap those tires on and you'll be good.

Hey 8 banger do you have a body lift? I don't think so, just checking though. I'm thinking about getting the same size tires for my 04 4x4.
I already switched my spare over to that size because I had a branch sticking out of one of my tires and I had them switch'em around.
Was thinking about going bigger, but don't want to trim or worry about rubbing. I do go offroading so it could be an issue if it rubs.
