Hey everyone... thinking about a cool mod to do to my truck, as we all know the earlier Dakota's are hard to modify so as always I like to do things alittle different. How about some exhaust stacks coming through the bed like some of the diesels you see all over the place. As it is only an idea i'd like to read your feedback about this idea. How would it sound? Would it look cool or out of its place on a dakota? Obviously the stacks would taper off over the roof line of the truck. Can you picture it???

you should also put some 40 gallon fuel drums on each side to compliment those exhaust stacks.

No, the fuel drums would be absolutly retarded on a dak, and remember its nly an idea and i never said "I'M GOING TO DO THIS" so its just good to read your feedback

Be your own person.You like it do it. Your the only one you need to keep happy.Giving away my age but I did this to a 51 Dodge 1/2 ton with a Crysler flathead 6 (bigger engine)split manifold. That truck was a dream and I still wish I had it. How the time flies.

i think you should get one of those exhaust splitters that you can control open headers or regular exhaust. then just drop a little pipe out behind your front tire with a little upward tip. so you can pull up to ppl at stop lights flip the switch or pull the cable and blow screaming loud exhaust at them. i dont know im young and dumb but boy does that sound sweet

My friend has a dodge that has 4 in. stacks on it and it dosent sound bad at all. and it looks good. Also another friend of mine has a dodge cummins that has bunny eared stacks.. now those dont look so great but still sound good.
