 Subject: 3" Body lift questions for 01' CC 4x4

I have a 2001 CC 4x4 3.9L 5-speed. Just had a couple questions on the body lift. The 3" Performance Accessories kit is what I plan to buy. The shifter linkage, will there be a ton of play compaired to stock and if so can it be fixed? My 4wd is electronic so no lever there. And since I have the 3.9 with 3.55 gears I really dont wanna go with a different sized tires at the moment until I can afford some 4.10 gears, and on top of that I just bought 4 brand new tires. Stock on this truck is 265/70R16 (31x10.5x16), would a 3 inch lift just look goofy or would it set the truck off alright? Oh, and any other problems associated with a body lift on this year would also be helpful.Thanks for any info.

i have the 3 in on my 01 cc 4x4 and am runnin only 285-75-16 33-11.5 equivalent. email me and ill send u pictures... but i have the v8 i would motor swap b4 axle swap.
