 Subject: 4WD light stays on

I have a 89 Dakota. It is an awsome truck! One thing though, the 4WD light wont turn off. It is not in four wheel drive when it is on, and will go in and out of four wheel drive just fine. I saw a service bulitin kinda like this, but in that, it stays in four wheel drive. Mine does not. I was wondering if anyone else has or had this problem, and how to fix it. Thanks

switch is either stuck in the CAD or the vacuum switch on the T-case is stuck
i hate that T-case crap, i made my own vacuum switch for my 90 retrofitted with a 95 tcase (no vacuum front axle on the 95)
it works much better, i think becuase im getting better air flow with my manual switch than the t-case switch was getting

Well, I just fixed my light today. I just put it on a toggle switch, so when i put in four wheel drive, I just turn the light on. Works pretty well.
