Subject: WILL 32's FIT??
IP: Logged

Message:
I just bought a 2000 Dakota QC 4x4 4.7L that kicks ass. it needs new tires, and wanted to know if i could fit 32/11.5/15 bfg muds on it. the guy told me he cranked the torsion bars but i dont know how much he did. How can i tell if they cranked all the way? And if they are cranked all the way should the tires fit ok?

thanks

The tires will fit cranked or not, but will fit better if they are cranked. I put 32s on my friends durango and they fit even before we cranked it up. They actually have plenty of room....just remember your acceleration will not be the same

What do u have now, 31's? 32's are going to fit just fine and I honestly I don't think you'll notice a big loss really if any. I put on some 32's with my almighty v6 and I didn't really notice a whole lot of power loss or any mileage and power wasn't hard to get back. It will throw off ur speedo and odometer though.
