Before buying new brackets, you need to figure out why yours are damaged. I'v never heard of this, and have never done it on any vehicle I'v ever owned (not that that means a whole lot). But that is an unusual problem, and if you replace the brackets without finding the cause, you'll just be buying new brackets again.

The suspension guy at les schwab where i live told me that there is too much pressure on them so the bar is tearing throught them because the ones on it are not strong enough to support what they are suppose to be doing, I have put new wheels and tires on my truck, cuz when i bought it the offset on the wheels i bought it with was really weird and the tires where really wide. but i had already torn throught one again.

That doesn't make sense to me. When the truck is sitting on level ground, there is absolutly no pressure on any of the mounting mounts. When the tires travel over uneven surfaces, then you get some pressure on the ends of the bars - neg on one side and pos on the other. In general driving, it isn't much pressure. But hard cornering will increase that pressure, as it's designed to do.

What year/engine/driveline is your truck? What kind of driving do you do? I find it hard to believe you're doing enough hard cornering with your truck to destroy the bar mounts. That just doesn't sound right. I drive mine kind of hard, and there are no problems at 72K miles.

OTOH, if you're doing a lot of rock crawling and heavy off roading you may create enough stress to damage the mounts. But in that situation the anti-sway bar is limiting wheel travel and hindering your traction; so it should be disconnected or removed.

I think there's more to this than meets the eye, and the guy you talked to at les schwab may not know what he's talking about.

Yeah my Schwab guy knows his stuff. It does not have the factory parts on it it has a lift on it so things got changed dumb on my part i bought it like this and no nothing about lifts or lift brands and even my schwab guy does not know the lift brand that is on it. so we are just trying to save my truck and suspension and the lift.

My suggestion, then, would be to fab some heavy duty brackets out of solid steel. Be sure and shore up the mounting points as well, or they become the weak spot that gives out first.

Or just remove the sway bar altogether.
