I saw that ForexFour had put 33's on his stock suspension. I was thinking about doing it to mine. I have the high clearance winch bumper and am confident that I could make them fit. Just wondering if it is worth it or not.

It is worth it, I own the white dakota that was in the pictures and owned the black cherokee on his current page. His truck had the clearance of mine, but since I had the body lift and he didnt, his was more stable and looked better. I have also run the 33's with out the body lift and with the stock bumper and liked it much better than when I had 32's

The only problem you will have is topping out in the wheel well if you are pounding it hard off road. Have to crank them TB's and some minor frame rub. I wheeled it a lot like this til I got the Rancho lift.

Like Kevin says, it is worth it as long as you know your limitations. IFS does not flex much at all, so it is just the hard pounding that will hurt.

Thanks, now that I have heard it from you I am going to put on 33x10.5x15's to avoid some of the frame rub. My 32's look small now with all that room that my winch bumper created and I am ready for the next step up.

LR, Hope you do not have an 03 or 04 dak, 15" rims won't fit.

so 03/04 Dak's can't run 15's? Is it because of the larger rotors? I wanted 32X11.50s, but as you know they don't come in a 16" wheel size. I guess I will just stick with a 265/75/16 which equates to 32X10.50.

No you can not run 15" rims on a 03 or newer, larger calipers.

You could check out 275/70/16. Depending on brand specs they seem to be in between a 265/75/16 and a 32x11.5x15. I was told they would not fit my truck when it was stock without trimming, but maybe with your torsion lift.

Just so I understand this, will 285/75/R16 BFG TA all terranes fit on a stock 2001 dakota Quad cab, with a off road bumper? How about 265/75/r16 with the stock bumper? Have KYB monomax shocks. Where can I get a high clearance bumper? Do very little hard off road, maily snow and trails, but need to beef the looks up a bit.

Any other tire size recommendation for the 16's?

Thanks!
