Okay, now I'm with all you other guys.

What The F..k? I ordered mine in the middle of July and still nothing. I was being mellow and patient and all. Talked to them again (once a week now) and the dude says all Dakota bumpers are on hold right now for some missing part they needed to order. I just don't get it?

missing parts ?? what the heck could it possibly be ? the whole thing is about as simple as it gets, the only "parts" separate from the frame and plate for the bumper is hardware to mount it, which you can buy at any good industrial supply. hope it turns out okay for you.

I got one from them a few months back and they don't ship it with mounting hardware, anyway. It's not even cut/drilled to be ready to mount. DO NOT get the optional light mounts...they put them on the wrong side so it dings up your tailgate and there isn't enough room to mount a normal size light, anyway. Also, drill holes in the bottom immediately because they seal all but the hole on top where the latch goes in. Expect some frustration when greasing the pivot point because they only cheaply stick the piece for the grease gun in, it's not threaded, pinned, etc. For the money, though, I'm pretty happy with it. I will be sending them digital pictures that they requested for their website from me of the bumper mounted on a Dakota, so check back on their site over the next few weeks. Mine will be seeing an aftermarket finish, too, as the black paint that they provide standard literally falls off every time the tire carrier latches. I'm just glad the other guy's insurance bought the bumper...
