hey everybody yall might think of this as a dumb question but im hearin alot about crankin torsion bars and i was wonderin if yall could tell me where they are located and what is involved in doing this

Better stay away from something you know nothing about.
First, get a manual for your vehicle and read it.
Torsion bars will be in the suspension section.

Torsion bars are primarily on the 4X4 trucks.

They are under the cab and connect on the lower control arms and extend to a frame cross member about half way back.

Be conservative on cranking them.

Just keep this in mind, that when u crank those bars, you are adding stress to the front components so do only if needed. It's a cheap way to get a lift out of the front but has it's drawbacks.

Raised mine a couple inches several years ago - hasn't caused any problems, you'll likely be fine.
