Hey, my name's Al, and i am looking for the largest lift that I can find for a '99 dakota 2wd. I have found 3" suspension and 3" body lifts, but i am wondering if anyone has any info about anything larger than that? I found a bunch of 5.5" suspension lifts for the 4wds, and was wondering if there is a possibility of modifieng one of those to fit a 2wd? I'm trying to get 36's or 37's under it if possible. I figure probably not, so if you have any info on anything larger than the 3", hit me up with some feed back please! Thanks a ton.

Mazz, read the posts....35 is about the max that our trucks can handle for real off road work...without breaking parts. Unless you are putting in some BEEFY parts, lifts are the least of you worries...you can always cut sheet metal....
I have 33's with a 3" BL, I can probably squeeze in some 35" with cutting. Dont forget the gear change that would be needed to get those meats rolling...
