whatsup fellas im lookin for real steel skid plates for my 02 dakota quad cab 4x4. all ive found is the rancho front skid plate, any comments on that plate? (good or bad) any info would be great thanks

My '01 QC has factory plates that cover front diff, engine, trans, and fuel tank. They are some composite material. They can withstand some real pounding, and don't weigh much.

The Rancho plate is for their lift only and will not help you out.

FYI,

I have heard that the holes for the very rear Transfer case skid plate are off on some models they need to be moved Back more. May want to check it before you have them drilled. Sorry Someone else might be able to be more specific.

The holes are off on both. If your really interested in making them or having them made let me know and I'll get under my truck and take some measurments. Mine is a 04, so it may be different. But I don't think so by looking at some of the pictures on this web site.
Also, if you don't mind a little extra weight the angle cut isn't neccesary and would look more centered if it wasn't there.
