Subject: P.A./Rancho pics?
IP: Logged

Message:
I have seen some pics of a couple of guys who post here, on Yahoo, of both lifts together. I have seen one local Dak with both lifts on 35's, thought it looked pretty sharp, but over the holidays in Cali, saw a white Dak with just the P.A. lift and thought it was pretty ugly, all I noticed was all that black frame and spare tire showing. Does anybody have or know where to find some really good close-up pics of both lifts together and what modifications are needed to my safari bars, nerf bars, and dual catback to mount a receiver hitch to hide my spare? I already have the Rancho lift, just trying to decide to lift it more or turn my attention to engine mods. thanks.

I have all the things you mentioned except for the true duals, I keep my spare in the bed because it's too big (35" tire).

Thanks for the replies. You both were the guys I mentioned above, I have checked out your pics many times, also of another guy with both lifts named Big Dawg, I think. I found some pics on the raised board of TALLQUAD, both body and suspension lifts on a 2wd, his close-up pics of his fender trimming has me a little worried. Evan, what rims are those?, I love that "blacked out" look. And, how far back did you cut your exhaust? 4x4Dak, what were the modifacations needed on your safari and nerf bars? And, to both or either of you, in what order did you do your lifts, and, do any of it yourself? Thanks again, both of your trucks look sweet!

thanks for the comments. my rims are 15x8 rockcrawlers and i cut my pipes all the way back to the muffler. and since i dont have to smog my truck i took off the cat so im just running the 40 series flowmaster muffler. i put both lifts on myself starting with the rancho and then later i put the body lift on. any questions on anything just ask.

I put the body lift on first and paid to get the suspension on put on. As for the Nerf bars, all I needed was longer bolts. No mods for the Safari bar.

Almost forgot about this post, yesterday saw a white quad cab with both lifts and out of state plates, and almost caused a pile up craning my neck to check it out. I probably won't cut my pipes as they are stainless with custom tips, just gonna have them bent to exit behind each rear tire after the body lift. 4x4Dak, thanks for the reply about needed mods to nurf bars, couple of questions for you, what rims you got? and, I assume you have the gap guards, any problems with mud up in the engine,( your mud pics). thanks
