they say they are making a new design for the 200-2003 recalls on the ball joints. will this screw up puting a lift on i already have. will it still bolt up? thanks

I am wondering the same thing, well sort of. I have 32's on my truck with the torsion bars as tight as possible, and the wheel wells trimmed. Are they going to come back and say no or not? Should I put the original tires back on before I take it in and loosen the torsion bars?

in the recall they are replacing the ball joints right? if so the new ball joint has to be the same dimensions as the old one or at least close. i think the new ones will probly be "stronger" or maybe they will just check the ball joints and if its within spec, send you on your way. i have a 98 so it doesnt involve me.
