I just had to share this with you guys, I started college on Monday and trying to find a parking spot in a packed lot with 15 minutes to go until class starts is not fun. I was just sitting there in line to exit the lot I was in to go another one that also had no open spots and was ready to pull my hair out as I sat there looking over the long line of dropped ricers and other compacts when I look over and see these two curbs that kind of stair step up to the next lot with about a 10 foot space between lots and I think should I do it? The line wasnt moving at all, but then again my skid plates were off and smashing my front diff into the curb and busting an axle would be a very bad thing. So I thought what the hell and took one look at the mother in the mini-van behind me before I hit the gas in a not to calmly fashion and bounced my way over both curbs without a scratch to my dak. The dak has over 100,000 miles on the stock shocks and they still held up fine. That and my ball joints on both sides need replacing too! I love having a 4x4 pick-up that sits higher than any car out there and most 2wd trucks. I also love the looks on the peoples faces who said having a 4x4(even though I didnt need it) is useless in the city. All that and my truck sits at stock heigth without the torsion bars cranked and street tires!!
