 Subject: Lift for a Gen III 2wd?

I saw a 3" body lift for a 2000 Dakota 2wd, does anyone know if it will work on a 2001? Also if I lifted it 3", will 33x12.50 tires fit?

Jim it should fit. The largest you could go would be 32's. 33's just do fit on a lifted 4x4. 32's on 15x8 rims would not be anything to frown at though. Sounds like a kick butt idea. If you do it, take pics and let us know how it goes. I MAY be going that route with my truck soon. It's going to be a suprise project though with some other things invovled so I dont want to give away too much here.
