Im looking to get a 3" lift and good mud/offroad tires for my 04 dakota, its a 2wd club cab SXT, it has the standard SXT 16x8" wheels.

I'm looking at BFGoodrich All-Terrain or Mud-Terrain Tires, or Swamper TSL's, and a few others. my questions is what size tires will fit on the stock rims I have?

also, I cant find anywhere that has a 3" lift for the 04 dakota, anyone know of a place?

Thanks,
Matt

Matt.........I have a 2004 2wd dakota V8 slt and right now i have a 2" suspension and getting ready for a 3" body lift. I am hoping that i will be able to fit a 285-75-16 which is the same thing as a 33-11.50. Anything wider than an 11.50 is going to cause major problems as far as rubbing on the frame. Then you will have to go with spacers for the wheels so that you can push the tires out. And anything taller is going to give your tranny problems...not too sure the 33's arent going to anyway even though i have a 3.55 rearend. ..............I have talked with the guys from suspension connection and jcwhitney and there is suppose to be a lift coming from performance accessories in late november early december. Hope this info helps.
