Message: I have a 00 Quad cab with the 4.7. Does anyone make any after market skid plates? I don't even have the plastic factory ones. I would like a transfer caes skid plate atleast.
Message: I just made some for my 94 dak. when you make your own you have tons of options. I went with 1/8" aluminum sheeting from the start of the tranny to the end of the transfer case. Much better than plastic
Message: go to the dealer. The have accessory skid plates, that are steel. The price isnt bad either. they have a front susp., a transfer case, and a gas tank skid plate. I only have the front one on my truck and have used it many times without concern.
