 Subject: axle questions

i have a rear 8.25 axle and a 7.25 front axle. does anybody know what dana they are?(dana 30 or something?) they both have a tag on them that say 355. does that mean 3.55 gears? i was told it has 3.92s, atleast that is what it came stock with. so can anybody help me out? Thanks, Steve

Most likely they are 3.55 gears, but that could just be an axle ID tag. The 8.25 is a chrysler axle, not Dana. The front is a Dana 35 ifs.
