Subject: 3" body lift on 2WD Dakota?
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 97'Dodge Dakota, 3.9L, 2WD Club Cab,and im thinking about getting a 3 inch body lift. However i have never seen a 2WD with a 3 inch body lift only (no suspension lift). It would be great to see some pics!
Also is it safe to put a 3 inch body lift on my truck? Are their any bad reasons why I shouldnt?

Id really apreciate the help, thanks

If you have an auto, neither will work. I tried.

I have seen a few with susp lifts and a few with body. The body lift would be the same on a 2wd as a 4wd. Actually easier on a 2wd cause you dont have to worry about an extension for the transfer case lever. I know where there is a picture of a Dak with a susp lift but not a body lift.

Does anyone know if and where you can get a lift for a 2wd 93 dakota? Its a pain to find anything for it. I love the truck and want to add some extras.

ok for lifts on 87-96 2wd Dakotas go to truckin susp. they got 3inch lifts for the front some are just upper a-arm and a 3inch coil and then some are upper and lower a-arms. they also have rear axle flip kits to make the rear susp. a spring over. and then also hanger kits for the rear springs. and last but not least coil spacers
