I just got back from Pismo and let me tell you I was rather suprised by my Dak's ability to 4by. I only got hung up on one dune and thats because I let off towards the top. The only thing I have done is cranked the t's and stuck 32's under the truck. It ran like a raped ape! Three cheers to Dodge for making a off road worthy vehicle, at least in sand and mud thus far.

I love to go to Pismo. The winter time you get more traction since the sand can be a little wet from fog and overcast skies but in the summertime it is a different ballgame.

We paln a group trip there in August, no date for this august yet.

Let us know if you go back!!

Chris

I have BFG all terrains at normal pressure. 265/65/16 I believe... I can't remember for sure. I didn't have much trouble hittin the dunes at all, might have been easier if I pressured down to about 15-20 Psi though. Hey Chris I would love to meet up with some of you guys next trip out to Pismo. I wanna see your bumper up close! I live in SoCal and the people out here have their trucks for show... bOOOO! I like usin mine. I also want to hit up hollister, but Its more fun the more people you have goin along with ya! Especially if and when you get stuck! LoL

I air down to 12 psi at pismo.

I run 33x10.5x15 MT's and have 3.92 gears.

If you ever want to find out what our group is up to contact me and I will let you know about our current trip plans.

We have a trip planned for SO Cal, Meeting in Ridgecrest in the mountians by China Lake. It is a 1.5 day trip through Kennedy meadow 4-24. we are camping Saturday night somewhere along the way and all I know is there will be no campground.

We always have a summer end Pismo run and we just got back from our winter Pismo trip. We love to hook up at Pismo since it is a half way point for our group.

I know what you mean4x4's just are not treated like the should be. It is sad that allot of them never see any action but they look sweet burning up a good MT tread on the roads and Highways.
