I'm disappointed. No Hemi option yet, and no regular cab. I think the photo of the black '05 Dak on the Dodge website looks good. I'm not too bloody impressed so far, so I'll just hang on to my '01 Dak.

dude i hate it. period. the 05 looks like a ram but smaller. i thought the dakota was suppost to look different.

sorry fellas, no hemi for the dak. i jus read a news paper my dad got from his work at chrysler and the new kota only gets 3 engines: the 3.7, a regular 4.7 and a hi-performance 4.7 that makes more power. i forget the real numbers, but thats all its gettin. and by the way, i love that they are goin back to the square lines of gen 1. ive got a 96, so i guess that im swayed a little, bt o well. They raised the compression to make the extra HP and torque. I think 9.7:1. And they recommend using super gas. I would just get the regular 4.7 and do a couple upgrades to get the same extra 20HP.
