Subject: Clutch help, please!

Message:
I recently tore the truck down to replace the pilot bearing on the back of the crankshaft. I took the tranny off, disassembled the clutch and cleaned the components with brake parts cleaner, and replaced the pilot bearing. Everything was operating flawlessly for about a week, but now the truck makes a slight whistling/whining noise when the clutch is pushed all the way in.

The noise is very slight. It happens during the last 1/2" of pedal travel. If I release the clutch pedal 1/2" off the floor, it stops. When I get the noise, you can "feel" the noise through the shifter handle. As I said before, the noise is very slight, so it's nothing I'm too concerned about (yet), but it's annoying.

When I disassembled the components, all items were marked and reinstalled in the exact same position. I installed a new T.O. bearing as well, but ellected not to get a new clutch because the Centerforce Dual Friction that's on there has less than 30K mi. on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I did all the work myself (the second time I've had the tranny out), so I'm confident that everything was reinstalled correctly.

Thanks!
