Here is a pic of my 03 extra cab dakota on 35's. Using the stock wheels and a 3" body lift. Had to trim alot of plastic out of the front fender wells but now all is good! I thought I had more pics of it mudding but only one turned out.

Crap this board doesn't allow remote linking or what?

I guess you'll have to cut and paste it into the web bar.

Like how stuffed those are......I can't stand a ton of wheel well space. Personal preference I guess. here is one for you tacoma lurkers out there:

Yeah the dakota walked right through it! Of course the plastic deal that blocks off the oil filter access is now gone thanks to a rut...LOL

Think those would work with 16x8 inch rims with 4.5 backspacing? And how much cutting did you have to do? I have 33s now with 3 body lift and cranked bar about 1 1/2 inches with add-a-leafs.

I am with illkeepmy33s though. I see maybe 3-4" of travel only in the back before your rear starts to rip into the fender. Removing the flares may help but in front you can see at certain turn points the tire will stuff into the flares again with only about 3-4" of travel even straight on flex is gonna get you at some point. On road OK. As long as it works for you that is Killer bud! A Dakota is still the best lookin truck on the road!

This is my example of stuffing!

Enjoy!

By the way the first photo is running 32x11.5x15 on AE589's with 3" lift.

Second photo is the next day 285x75x16 AT's on stock 16's with 3" rancho lift.

To clarify.

1/4 of an inch is as good as a mile......It's probably just the angle of the picture, they dont hit. Besides that the front is IFS anyway, it's not made to flex. The front does rub somewhat when one tire gets stuffed. But the only place it rubs is on the bumper. Soon as it stops raining I may trim up the bumper some more. Besides a little rubbing doesnt hurt anything.
