Does anyone know why these trucks have such poor gound cleance? I could jack it up yes. But why Chrysler never put a off-road package as a option to the B,C body trucks.

Stop wishing and do something! 2" body lift with 4" suspension lift gets 33s on my 95 extended cab. No matter what brand you buy, it's gonna cost you a little $$$ to get it up where it should be.
The reason they are at the height they are is that's the current compromise between safety and usability.
