i would like to get 33" swamper thornbirds for my 2002 4x4 dak , and with the 3" body lift would they clear with no rubbing??

From what i have read on this forum the 33s will rub some with a 3 in body. On page 3 of this forum there is a thornbird subject, and there is a pic of a red dak that has the exact same set up. Click on the pic and go to the web site, it has ton of great off road videos and pics.

Hey I tried fitting 33's on 15x8 wheels, no go, just crank your torsion bars up in the front and you will have enough room, search the boards from how to do that, there are a bunch of how to's. You can do an add aleaf in the back if you want, but its not really needed. i will take pics of my truck with that setup on it. it looks sweet do it

Did you do any body lift?
What can you fit with a 2 inch body lift? nothing?
My cous has an '00 with a 3 inch body lift and I just don't like it. Gaps are too big!
If you do jack up your tbars, addaleave rear and 2 inch body, what can you get?

Yeah i have a 3 inch body on there 2, so a 3 inch PA body lift kit, and some add a leafs with cranking the torsion bars give about a 4.5. i run 33x12.5, i had very minor rubbing but i did some minor cutting and now i have none

I have a PA 2" body lift with 1.5" lift blocks in the back and the torsion bars cranked a bit and I get a little rub with 33x12.5 on my stock rims. Most of the rub is just on the factory mud flaps which i am thinking about taking off. I also ordered wheel spacers 3/16" think and that should help also. Love the way it looks though!!!

thanks for the replys , see im gettin my body lift after hunting season , and i think im gonna get the 3" rancho sus lift also. i'd rather go for a 4"sus but im not sittin around waiting for them to make one .
