Ok everyone, I need your asistance. I am looking to get upper and lower Moog Ball joints for my 2000 4wd dakota, but am having a hard time finding a website that selld them for the 2000. I checked rockauto.com and couldn't find what i needed. If I missed something on that website or anyone knows of somewhere else I can getthem please let me know, ThankS!!

Moog does not make ball joints for the 2000. I've heard that the 99 ball joints will fit however, but do not know from personal experience. There are quite a few other manufacturers out there for the 2000.

The 2000 and newer proper proceedure is to have the control arm replaced since they are made as one unit.

But you can buy the MOOG's from rock auto for the 1999's and install them. It is pretty easy if you have the ability to grind off the rivets that hold the Upper ball joints on.

I have done the uppers this way but not the lowers yet.
