Subject: 2" Fabtech Front Coils - Question
IP: Logged

Message:
Has anyone actually installed these coil springs on a 2wd, V8 Dak?

If so, how much ACTUAL lift over stock did you end up with utilizing these springs?

I have heard "guestimates" from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches, but have yet to hear any "hard" numbers.

I have a new set of Fabtech 2" coils I am thinking of installing on my 2000 CC, 4.7 Dak, but I'm not sure I want to go to all that trouble for a 1/2" to 3/4" inch lift.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
MD

you will get 1-1/2inches of lift from the new springs, but you need to watch the camber of the upper ball joint.

Thanks Rhyno - 1 1/2" sounds worthwhile.
