Subject: Sway bar/3" lift problem
IP: Logged

Message:
So, I had the 3" lift put on and everything seemed to be ok, until I went to change the oil and saw that the front sway bar had shifted/moved about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inches to the right, from the drivers side to the passenger side. This is causing the rubber bushing on the drivers side to wear out, quickly. I have had 4wheel parts who did the install re-aligh the sway bar twice. They have checked the ride hieght, that is correct, the torsion bars are on the correct side, that has been checked. I have rancho 9000's, they are adjusted correctly. The guys at 4wheel parts are working with Dodge to try to solve the problem, they are not getting any help from Rancho. Anyone out there have any ideas or has anyone run into this problem???

Thanks for the help, Terry

adding a body lift would not affect the sway bar at all, Maybe you hit something off roading and bent it or something like that. even the shocks would not cause it to shift left or right.
