Subject: Rancho 3" Pics Wanted

Ok guys, it's the moment of truth. I am almost ready to finally pick up a lift for my little truck so it won't be very little anymore. But i'm REALLY worried. I'm afraid a 3" Rancho lift won't be enough for me, i'm afraid 33" tires aren't going to do it.

I know i could just throw on a 2-3" body lift, but that is unacceptable to me, i want only suspension lift.

I am so frustrated and worried about this Rancho lift being as small as it looks that i'm half thinking about the 4.5 Truckin lift, a resort i do not want to have to take.

I'm also pretty pissed that Rancho can have such a small lift for such a high price and offer no extra suspension articulation!! I mean, 3" drop brackets for the IFS and 3" drop brackets for the torsion bars, plus mere 2" blocks for the rear = NO suspension change!!! The only real difference i'm gonna see is with the shocks, which i can get with any lift.

My girlfriends step dad is an awesome metal guy, so the under built problems with the truckin lift isn't really a problem, and at least the Truckin lift comes with add-a-leafs for the rear, but i'd still rather get something else!!

So try and ease my worried mind by showing me some pics, good pics, ones of your trucks so i can really tell what they look like with those lifts. Any 3" rancho lift on any year dakota is fine, i just wanna see it!!! And to any truckin guys, feel free to post some pics of your trucks too, maybe even in action or articulation pics as well.

Thanks to all!!

I have a 99 extended cab sport with a performance accessories body lift and Im running 32X11.50X15's. In the next two weeks I am having the Rancho kit installed also for a total of 6 inches. I tried 33's with the just the body lift and they rubbed when turning full lock to lock. When I get the suspension kit on they should fit fine. I am running Mickey Challenger wheels w/5 inch back spacing.
