Just wondering what the best shocks for a 92 4x4 Dak? I do some mild/medium off roading/sand running. My last shocks are about to go, and just wondering what the best, and best for the $$, shocks are.

definitely go with a set of Rancho's...I have the 6000's right now and I am debating whether or not to put the rancho suspension lift on and upgrade to the rs9000x's which would be sweet

On my 95' extended cab I have the Trailmaster SSVs and am very pleased. Solid handling, and I am showing good, even tire wear.
Weak fronts will typically show themselves by providing sloppy handling (body roll in cornering) while the rears will indicate themselves with cupping of the outer tread on the "front" tires.
This is WITH a 2" body lift AND 4" suspension lift on 31x10.5 Kelly Safari's. Soon to be replaced by 33x10.5 BFG AT's!

I have had no trouble at all with my SkyJacker's. I do a medium amount of offroading, not too heavy, but enough to have fun. They seem to work great on streets, too. I'm sure any of the big names you will find similar performance.

I'd like to see a part # or two for Bilsteins, Elderbrock or Rancho shocks for the lifted 2wd Gen3 Dak with a 3 inch lift in the front and 1.5 in the back. Fabtech is the only one that has it but won't give cross over part #'s. Seems to be a hard thing to find since none of the manufacture's want to list a # for the 2wd's.

Wouldn't want any other!

I don't get to do much off roading. I spend 99% on the road, so I went with Monroe Reflex. I've had Rancho's in the past and they are too stiff for the road in my opinion. The Reflex's are great. I get almost no body roll and it really smoothed out the highway ride.
