Earlier tonight i was wheeling at the creek (we call it) and i went through a part in the actual creek that i thought was shallow cuz i saw a chevy just go through it and so i went through it. then to get back to where i was before i went through it again but i guess i went to far to the left and it was deeper there. immediatly after getting to dryer land my truck started making noices like there was water in it and it almost died several times. i wasnt sure if i should turn it off or wait or what. where did the water go to make it do that? and is there a way to prevent it so i can still have fun in the water?

Hope you didn't suck any water into the intake causing hydrostatic lock.

if you did suck water into your intake, this is what you want to do. Drain your oil and pull out all of your sparkplugs. Put about a can of mineral spirits in their and turn your motor over with the starter a few times, just not to much cuz remember there's no oil. Then drain out the mineral spirits and give it bout an hour then fill it back up with oil and you should be good to go. The mineral spirit will get rid of the water in you engine

not hydrolock, motor wouldnt turn over. I went wheelin through some water a while ago and mine did the same thing, my guess is it was just a little water being sucked into the engine (not bad at all, hydrolock only happens when the intake is completely submerged), either that or the alternator got wet or somthing along those lines.
