I'm from Bayville. I work at Ft. Monmouth. Most of my driving is the 35 miles between the two on the Parkway. LOL
There is a place off Lacy Road in Forked River is hear is good, but I've never been there.

I live in eastern PA. There is a cool off road park in Hazelton. It's called Paragon Adventure Park. You'll find a link for it at this site www.neuroc.com Haven't been there yet, but I'm going to check out a rock comp next weekend. I'll let you know what it's like. There are some good places to stay, and make a weekend of it.

forget about it? patrolled? are you talking about up lacey raod when the huge i-beam triangle gate is and the alluminum gate is accross the street. that is shore wildlife's property. my buddy belongs to it. but if your not a member there from what i heard i would stay far away. and worry about the hunters more then the cops.
is that the place on lacey road you were referring to or is there someplace else?

so where in central jersey can you go. its a blast down there because you can have fun and its mostly an open area. so you really don't have to worry about branches scratching your truck up.
any other ideas for central new jersey?
only places i know are Sarcos (heritage monerals, Toms River, Manchester), The place down off Lacey Road, Colliers Mills(which is really turned into nothing now, Fischer BLVD Toms River (but people decided to dump trash and chances are if you go through a puddle your gonna hits a washing machine)
any ideas?

didn't they reopen assarco/heritage sand pit. thought i saw dump trucks going in & out.
gliddens sand pit usta be excellent by lakehurst but thats closed now- think its a golf course now.
we usta have a jeep trail that ran off fisher blvd all the way to the bay- had some fine clambakes and keggers out there in the good ole days lol.
bout the only thing open anymore is lebanon & wharton st forests mostly jeep trails though too tight for a dak.
it sucks the freakin tree huggers have shut everything down.

the heritage minerals/sarcos pit are back open. but don't get caught wheelin back there, toms river and manchester police have jeeps and explorers that they take back there and if you get caught they have a field day with you.
fischer is ok but there is garbage everywhere and your bound to hit a washer machine or 55gallon drum.
like i said mostly wharton is jeep trails that will give you custom pin stripes. same with colliers mills.
lacey is great. thankfully one of my buddies is a member down there so we never have problems. cops see up going in there and he pulls out his card and they say have a good night.
its great
