Hello, I have a 91 4x4, 318, auto. I cranked the torsion bar's and put 32's on with just a little rub on full turn's. I want to put a 2 inch body lift on and would like to know what it takes and what brand, And does the truck drive, function and handle good?. I also would like to know if anybody has been able to, and how, to relocate there rear bumper so it sits where it should. And has anybody put the lift lip's in and do they look good?? Also, have block's in rear, would like to know if add a leafs would leavel out rear end and how stiff will it make it? It's a lot of stuff to ask but Any help is very appreciated!! thx's...Art

I can certainly answer your question about the add-a-leafs. I just had a set professionally installed by a local spring shop and I can't notice any extra stiffness from the back end. I was worried that it would drive like a tank after the install but I'm very pleased with the results. I gained about 1.5" of lift after the install so would definately swap out the blocks for a set of add-a-leafs.

I'm pretty sure that "Performance Accessories" makes a 2" body lift but if I were you, I'd opt for the 3" kit just in case you'd like to run 33's in the future.

Anyway good luck.

performance accesories makes a 2" for your truck thats hwat i have in mine but you hav eto worry about the fan hitting the radiator.i thought i had my problem solved untill a couple nights ago my fan tore up my radiator..but as far as how it handles you cant tell the difference because it dont affect your ride quality it just makes it look alot better also trailmaster makes a 3" kit for your truck .some people say it wont work because the brake lines arent long enough but there is alot of gen 2's around with that lift

Yo Fitz, I got a 3in body lift on my truck. There is really no big deal to it. Just a few minor things to rig. Id look really good on your ride too.
