Okay I have had everyone backout on me so I now again have a few items for sale:

Five AE 589 15x8 wheels (3.25" backspacing)-$350

Tough Country 5.5" Suspension Lift - $600
Kit has everything included except emergency brake cable bracket (you can make one cause I did). Problems are as follows: the lower bump stops have been bent a little, but they still perform just fine. One of the front shocks will need a new bushing as the old one fell out. The kit is used, therefore it is no longer shiny and some spots have dings in them, but as stated earlier everything perfoms just nicely.

Rear 8.25" Axle Assembly - $225
Axle has 3.55 gears and a limited slip. The only problem with the axle is that the sway bar is no longer attached.

Front Suspension Parts - anything and everything that has to do with the front suspension of a 98 4x4 Dakota - you want them just ask and I will give them to you but you must pay shipping. The front differntial is no good though, if you want the gears then they should work but I would have to open it all up first.

All items are negotiable and buyer must pay shipping. If interested please respond to this message or e-mail me directly at ntarli0@engr.uky.edu

I will leave this post up for a week and if I get no responses then the items are going on EBAY.

Thank you very much if you are interested, I need the room in my garage.

In regards to the front suspension parts I thought I would just let you all know that a lower a-arm for our trucks costs $400 new (I have it for free), also I have the half shafts separated from the housing, which would make great spares for those of you who do hardcore wheelin, it is always good to have a spare when you are on the trail.

I have gotten some response about the wheels and some people have asked about my tires, so I guess I will go ahead and say if you want the tires and wheels I can sell them for $800 total. That is 4 - Conti MT's and 1 - Winston Winner AT (basically a BFG AT) on 5 - AE 589's. The wheels and tires are 7 months old and the MT's have about 12k miles on them but have lots of tread left, the AT has never touched the road.
New I paid about $1050 for everything.

Let me know if anyone is interested at all, especially the suspension parts as I will probably just junk them.

UW Griz

If you want anything else for the front suspension let me know, nothing is accounted for right now. I will give you a price on shipping as soon as I get some good strong boxes, also I need to take the upper control arms off and separate the half shafts from the knuckle. The driver's side lower a-arm has a sheared shock bolt but can be extracted, I just didn't have the time to take it out and thought it worthless if I wasn't even going to keep the IFS.

I forgot to add that the front brakes (rotors and pads) are almost brand new (less than 2 months old) if anyone wants those. Also I do have the calipers too.

Just let me know if anyone wants anything.

The Suspension lift is still available and would make a great project for a GEN II conversion as the original buyer told me he was going to do.

Thanks again to all those who have expressed interests.

papa smurf, do you have any idea when you might be able to ship out some of those parts? I just developed a need for those lower control arms. Thanks.

Okay just to update:

Suspension Lift: SOLD

Wheels: Still Available

Brake Parts: SOLD

Rear Axle: Still Available

Front Suspension Parts: UWGriz has dibs on those and sorry for not getting you a shipping cost yet. I will get some big boxes hopefull tonight (we are currently without power since Saturday night, and there are trees and power lines down everywhere so a lot of businesses are closed). I tried to separate the half shafts from the knuckles but I need some air tools to do that, which would make shipping much easier. I should be able to get everything done this week. Sorry again.

just a question on the 4x4 are the upper control arms different then the 2x4? I'm curious because a 4x4 is 3 inches higher stock then a 2x4 but if we lift a 2x4 3 inches our a-arms are on the frame without after market control arms.

papa smirf do you have any pics of your a-arms.
