Pismo beach run is getting closer every day. We can only go on Sunday because the camping limit of 1000 vehicles as been reached. I called to get the reservations and they said, sorry, there is unlimited day use but limited camping.
Chris - Lets meet in Salinas at 6:30 like last time.

Yeah we should be there about 7 which will put us there by 9. I think I will have Donna drive the van down so we wont have to wait up for them and they can leave later. Not sure which hotel I will stay at. Donna wants to stay on the beach so I may just fork over some cash for the view! Renting ATV's for the kids for a couple hours as well. should be done with those by noon or so and have the whole afternoon to wheel.

If you are going to rent and check in to the hotel I might pull right on to the beach or meet up with the ORW guys. They plan to meet at the Vons and then pull onto the beach. Are you renting the ATV's from BJ's or one by the entrance.
Kevin, you going? Bringing anybody?

Kev said he was not going. I want to get right on the beach asap. I can not check in til 3. Donna is driving down to rent the ATV's and then I will meet them at the front gate at about 1030 or so. Can't wait to do the night duneing. Dj will already be there. Arthur may show, you know usually does at some point.

Lets plan to meet them at vons and pull on the beach. We will drop the trailers with the ORW guys and then get some wheeling done from 9 - 10:15 and then we will go ride our quads and you can meet up with the family. Then after your time is up we do some more wheeling. I will leave around 9 or just after our 2 hours of night wheeling. Simon and I will meet you in Salinas around the spot we met last time. When will you be there, 7 or 7:30?

It will be great to see you again. I was hoping to have the Rancho lift on but it seems Rancho is claiming a vendor did not come through on their commitment and they will not be shipping any til 2-27-03, they hope.
I am staying in Shell Beach just a exit North of Pismo.

Ok, I got a room in SLO, and had my brother back out. Rob, you can stay with me and split the $$. And, I'm gonna keep a close eye on the weather. If it rains, I ain't gonna go. I was only able to get a room if I reserved Fri nite, so I'm gonna head up Fri nite. I also know of some real good places to eat there. One is actually in Pismo, but I can't remember the name, but have great food, large portions at good prices, and there's Mclintocks in Shell Beach right off 101

Ok, since in a nutshell we're swimming down here, with like 6" of rain yesterday I'm really curious about if the trip is still on. I got my room in SLO at the Super 8. All the buds that said they were gonna go flaked out on me so it's gonna be a solo run :( I'm going up Fri nite, Chris, if you want my cell to get in touch, email me off list, olznut@aol.com

Sorry to hear that Ed! I am still going and the group is still intact. Not that many other Dakota's will be there. Looks like our usuals will be there. Craig, DJ, Arthur,you and me. Tehn we have the big group meet with the ORW guys. That should put us up to about 15-20 trucks. The other more active board for group meets has guys coming up from LA maybe you could hook up with one of them. I will not be in til Sunday at 0830-0900 since I have to work Sat night. Craig will be in on Saturday. I think Pismo weather will be good as far as we can tell.

I just noticed that you guys are planning a run to Pismo. I wish I'd have seen this sooner. I live in Paso (north SLO county) and I'd love to hit the dunes with other Daks. Next time you guys make the run, definately drop me an email and I'd definately be in.
