I'm sorry to say this, but a Dak is not really designed to look good Viper-ish. hose tings make it look like it had its wisdom teeth out!

hey scott relax...we've already fought this fight, as for it not looking good viperish, the dakota is probably the most agressive looking truck with glass out there. i get stopped every 20 monutes out in the sand for compliments on how the dak looks and performs as an off road vehicle. and as for the "looks better" aspect, it depends on personal preference. I'm sure that my Dak has had the worst time of all of ours, and for me, the glass is the way to go.

its been assesed, and he said it looks pretty bad, frame is definately bent. he has to bounce measurements off his book. regardless, he's supposed to get a hold of me on monday to give me the news. he said if the damages total more than 11200.00, its totaled. I already have a buyer in line for the engine and tranny if they decide to total it, and i hear some guy posted on here looking for a wrecked dakota so.......we shall see.

Ok, 2 things I notice. First those fenders look hidious from the front without having a prerunner bumper on the front. And secondly what about the factory fender flares? Obviously they won't fit on the front so what do you do with the ones on the back? Pull them off and leave holes and double sided tape...

bigtimer , the holes are on the underside of the fender , and before 2002 they didn't come stock with flares , mine did't and is 2001 it has the holes to mount them though , but you don't notice them , and besides I think they're making fiberglass bedsides for the rear .............

Hey, personal preference is personal preference. Not anything personal against anyone that has them but you will never see anything like that on my dakota. More power to ya for having the balls to put something more pre-runner functional and to your liking on your dakota.
