i got a 1987 Dodge Dakota 3.9 v6 4x4 truck, can i take that front and put in a straight axle and then do a custom lift?

that will cost thousands of dollars, considering what year the truck is, the axle and custom lift will cost more than the truck is worth now. my opinion it's not worth it, but if you have loads of cash go for it, as me for me I have no money.
