You said that they wear well? How many miles on the mud terrains and how do they do in snow? Please let me know! Anyone. I'm buying tires this afternoon and I'm going off ya'lls opinions. Thanks....Andrew

I live south of San Jose and have not been anywhere near snow.

I just had the MT's out in some light mud, They worked well but the conditions were not as bad as I need for a good gage.

On the sand dunes they work fine. Going from the 31x10.5x15 Yokohama MT's was like night and day. The yokohama's I did not like to much a soft tire that gets eaten on the road. The grabbers have seemed to hold up pretty well with the 3k - 5k I put on them from May through Sept on and off. Still have allot of meat on them and they had some miles ont them. The ones I have I got from Resqready who got them from the Dakata concept truck. You may have seen a picture of it a while back it was yellow. These are the tires from it and I have no idea how many miles are on them except for the 3-5k I have put on them.

I have not driven on any other type of MT of this size. I do know that on the freeway you hear them and feel them in the steering wheel but that is allot of meat being thrown around.

Hope that helps.

Did you see the mileage chart I posted on the other post? I think that is a pretty good general idea of the mileage I get with my V6.

Never late for a Tee time or wheelin with my buddies! Always ready for both!!!

Hey Andrew I have the mt grabbers and they wear great. Over 20,000 miles and they still look great. Can't really tell you about mud, but in the snow they were horrible on my 2wd dakota. I'm going with bfg all terrain as my next tire. All my buddies have them and no complaints so far.

Don't know if it is too late or not for you Andrew, but I have the Continental MT's, basically the same tire as the General (Continental makes General Tires so they are the same thing). I love these tires. They do great on the road, in mud, on rocks, and in the rain. I haven't had them in snow yet, figures it snows last night and I get a flat tire (damn screws), well that and my front diff is busted. But anyway it is a great tire and I have put about 10,000 miles on them at least and they still look great.

So in other words I say go for it because you can't find a better tire for this little amount of money.
