Explain more man. Id love to go to some mud races around Gainesville here. Is Perry near that? Or does anyone know about local Gainesville-ocala mud boggs? Please help me out. Im going Honda and toy crazy here with all the rice racers. I NEED MUDDDDDDDDDD>

Is it a 1 time a year thing? Is is big. I have been to some boggz that sometimes have huge gatherings and sometimetheres none. I just dont waqnt to drive an hour+ for a small nothing bag. Thanks for the info.

I live in Perry and the Forest Festival and Mudbug are the biggest events of the year here. we have had several thousand people attend the past few years. You must be at the gate early in order to get in legally the past to years i think the gate was shut around 10 am use to cops werent involved and it was much more fun but now we have no choice and have to pay for them to be there. I encourage anyone who loves the South and the MUD to attend, wear ur dixie out fitters and come on over to the Taylor County Mudboggin'

Hey dude, do you guys have a pretty good HS football team there in taylor Co.? WE played them at the FHSAA State 2A championship game about 1997-1998, Clewiston Tigers by the way. I couldnt believe how damn big those guys were. They averaged the size of our heavy wieghts and I was smaller cuz I was only a Sophmore then. They won by 2 pts but it was a good game. Is that your area? Gotta be!
About the mudd bogg. Im in Gainesville now and tried to get there last year. maybe this year. Down in S. Fla near Ft. Myers is a small town called LaBelle. Lived there for most of my life. In Late Feb. we have the LaBelle Mud Hole. Damn it is soooo much fun. Ther were 6K people there this last year on Sat. and another 5-6K on Sunday. Mud is the best! Later.

Hey Joe, I also am in gainesville (UF student) and I am looking for a mud bog. My little brother used to take me to one in Land O Lakes, near my real home in Tampa and it was a blast! Now he is in Virginia for school and a bunch of his friends are here at UF and we all want to go! I hear there is one off of 301 in starke... Let me know if you find any!

I think theres one out near Newberry too. I know a cop out there and he said it is pretty good. I havent been there yet tho. I like the organized racing in pits. Theres one, the best one for racing, on 301 near Lakeland. Been to that tons of times. Theres a mad ass mud hole 2 times a year where I come from in Labelle near Ft myers in the south. Its crazy as hell. Thousands of people and hundreds of trucks and other things that dont qualify as anything. But yeah I love that kinda sh!t. We should go out to one of these places sometime. Where do you live? Im in Campus Club off Archer near I75. Talk to ya later.

Guys, I live in tallahassee and I've been going
to the perry mud bog for the past several
years. Its the best bog I've ever been to. Some
of the trucks that come are huge. I have a
dodge with a 7" lift and my truck looks tiny out
there. Its on sunday the 26th of oct. Its worth
the drive. Last year a guy trailed his truck from
apoka fl, it had 825 horses before he hit the
nos. This bog is unreal. Thousands of people
came last year so get there early.

is it on beach rode going towards keaton, dekle that
area? someone told me it was not going to be there.
this will be my thrid year and its amazing. like nothing
else! my explorer on 35s look sliek a matchbox car.
next to rigs with 36" wide spreader tires and dual tractor
tires on each corner.

In south Fla in LaBelle near ft myers we have a bog 2 times a year. Last weekend in Feb and July 4th. Its huge dude. There were 6-7 thousand people out there last year and it was a nutty ass place to be. Anything from scooters to tracked buggies are there. even saw a toyota echo getting dirty last year, didnt take 2 long, haha. But its straight nuts. Later. Anyone have picts from Perry this year?

Hey there. I live here in Perry and it is to my understanding that they are fixing to start having a mud bog every month. You know how we had two ponds to play at this year? The Kelly pond off the beach road and Padgett pond off Hwy 19? Well ,I heard they were gonna switch out every month. One at this one, the next month one at that one. I'm not sure when this is gonna start, but ya'll keep ya ears and eyes peeled. I go every year bright and early. Kelly pond straight up baby. I was in line at 4 am this year and barely on the dirt road off the beach road.
