Does anyone experience a balancing problem or tire vibration with these tires?

I think I am gonna buy these since most seem to like them pretty good.

which would be best 33x12.5x15 or 285x75x16 I have both rim sizes available.

I have the P275/70R16 BFG KO's on 16" alum Centerlines. The shop I used didn't have any trouble getting them balance. The even used the stick-on weights (had them cemented on with Loctite) because I didn't want the lead weights showing and corroding my shiney new alum rims. You should be fine. They are great tires. Can't get over how quiet they are.

The 33's are going to be a bit bigger than the 285's. Not much, but a little. 15 inch rimmed tires will be a bit better off road as they have more sidewall tha a 16 inch rimmed tire. This lets the tire flex a bit more both aired up and when you air down. Ride will also be a bit smoother due to the extra sidewall. The 16 inchers will give you better cornering and handling on road, for the exact opposite reason the 15's are better off road -- less sidewall to flex.

For optimum balancing tell the shop to put the valve stem between the to O's in bfgOOdrich. Supposedly its made to be balanced like that????

These are going to mainly be my tires for commuting and light of roading (just to kill the FIX).

The 285x75x16 are actually 32.9x11.3x16

The 33's are 32.7x12.5x16.

The 285 should eliminate the minor frame rub and I think I have decided to go with these. My tire guy told me about the BFG's having balancing issues and vibrations. He wanted to sell me the Cooper AT comparing it to be a better tire.

Thank for the input guys.

Hawkeye you told me what I needed to know. Thanks a bunch!!!
Could you Un-Damn me now please! (from a previous post about the bumper) J/K!!! LOL

BGF's balance as good as anything else. I can tell you this from having owned both 285's and 33 BFG AT's, and from working at 4 Wheel Parts and putting the two tires side by side. 33's are definitely bigger all the way around. They are close but not quite as close as the numbers would lead you to believe. 33's ARE taller.

Coopers better than BFGs?!? That`s the funniest thing I`ve heard all day.
He meant to say " I make more profit off of the Coopers , you should buy those instead."

I think scott has it right . Now I have the bfg's 31s on eagle 589s and one of them when balancing them , didn't need any weights ..... On another the smallest weight was put on , and the other two it was like normal , on any of the cars or rims on cars I have owned balanced perfect with out weight ............
