dweishaar, you have a right to your opinion but that doesn't make it right. So you hate body lifts, big deal. Some of us like them. Some of us have no choice. No susp lift for 2000+ 4wd yet (at least a dependable one that is). I will say I would prefer susp lift over body lift but don't have a choice right now.

You talk about making your truck happy but do you think it's really happy looking like that? Can you say paint job? As you see others can dog your stuff too.

yeah i know. i'd love to paint it now, but i'm very tapped out. i'm gonna get them painted sometime next month, thats why i didn't want to post pics yet, but i had too many people that didn't think it could be done i had to prove them wrong. and for the record....body lifts are kinda cool....just get lip liners pleaseeeeee. i hate seeing that gap on trucks as they drive by leave it for the nasty ford and chevy drivers

Hey man I have to agree about the lip liners. I got 'em on mine. You are right, body lifts with that gap look like sh#t. It's bad enough to see the frame exposed!! ;-)

fred-
the fenders were 190.00 a side and 250.00 for the install
Hawk-
i've seen a couple, and i'm just not impressed. i know i'm being a little unrealistic, but i'd like a body lift kit that was a lot more stable. i've actually considered fabbing my own kit, so i don't have to worry about any body damage, but i'm out of money, so either way, i'm S.O.L. for right now

i hate body lifts too. i have a 91 dak and the bolts just snap off from being sheared right the #^(% off. leave the guy alone, obviously he has gone thru enough hell w/ body lifts to know what he is talking about. ive gone thru 4 lift bushings because either the nut or bolt have busted!! body lifts are crap when compared to a susp. lift. hey i bought my truck WITH it.only reason i care for it is i am able to get my 32's on it AFTER i lifted it another 2" w/ a chassis. y you all gotta take it personal? it aint like hes attacking you persoanlly or your family or nothin! let the guy vent. besides, the bajas look bada$$! at least he can take that places some of you bit( hes cant!

I also don't care for those fenders. IF I'm going to dish out $650.00 Dollars. I would have saved a little more money and bought the Hanson Bumper !!!!!

Those fenders arent that bad, but they need to make rear fenders as well. But Hey its a great start to a new concept on a Dakota. I commend him for being one of the first here to show us what they look like on a Dakota, other than what the fabricators show.

Waiting for my XTerrains!
