Nobody makes a 3" system for the pre-1997 2wd Dakotas. The most you will find is 2" inches. You can buy from such places as JC Whitney. The 2" kit includes spacers and new shocks. Nothing taller can be run without replacing the upper control arm... or building a ball-joint spacer.

It`s a RAM 1500 , not a Dakota , you can lift them as high as you want to because they have a straight axle in the front!

you can go to autozone have em pull up your fatory spring part# (example fcs6545s) thats 4 a chevy anyway take the last 2 numbers in the part # and have them pull the next few higher nubers
(example fcs6550s , fcs6560s) the first# is make the 2nd # is spring design the 3rd# is tensile strencth and thickness get it . then you can either make a ball joint spacer or extend your suspension arm or do both and get a spring spacer ,easy to do if ya got a welder then get a body lift ,some swampers, a hot chick and some trojans . goodtimes ya dig. if you got any ???? e-mail me @ desertjeeper@aol.com that goes for anybody. damn i'm good!!!

Christopher,

You are a legend in your own mind!

Yes, you are good - so good that you had to respond to a year old post to show your knowledge.

Unfortunately in this case, your fountain of knowledge is benefiting only yourself.
Kinda like "pleasuring yourself".

lol,

please see this has lighthearted ribbing!

Have a good weekend!
