Hey

I have a question with Muddin!! and the exaust system.

I want to get a better exaust system on my truck with the pipes coming out the side or the back { haven't desided yet}

But I was wondering, If I go Muddin will I have a problem with mud clogging up the pipes and stalling out or over-heating my truck??

I'm talkin like getting in mud up to the doors.

My $.02

My buddy had his out the back and he clogged his up a couple times from sliding backwards while muddin in the real sloppy stuff. So I had mine done out the side. We do not mud up to the doors but I think you should consider if you Mud in area's where you have to back out in stuff that deep or you may tend to slide backwards I would not go out the back. Sure exhaust pressure will keep the pipes from filling but what if you stall or somethingthe exhaust may have a tendency to suck up some mud if you do stall.
Out the side you will still have the same problem but with the pipe on the side I think you have a better chance of not cloggin with mud.
When ever you go muddin in stuff that deep I do not think it matters until you let up on the gas and the exhaust out pressure goes down then you may suck some up if you are that deep.
One guy told me about a extension he made to attach when muddin this deep to extend the pipe up.

We used a stick to clean it out. It was packed in pretty good plus there was a rotted tree stump that was inter mixed with the mud.
