My mods wouldn't help you that much, but here goes.

The Kenne Bell Computer Reprogram, AKA The Flash.
Replacing the stock cams for some from a Jeep, AKA HO CAMS.
3" Exaust from the Y-pipe to Rear 3rd CAT Removed, AKA NOT A CAT BACK.
Intake Air Temprature Sensor movement, AKA IAT Relocation.

All these are on a 4.7L 5 Speed CC. For the 360 there is supposed to be a whole bunch more. Have fun and learn lots.

Worst Mod: Two chambered flowmasters dual 2.5 out.(took low-end torque, noisy in the cab).

Best Mod: Mike Leach "flash" and switching from flowmasters to Gibson 3" single out exhaust.

Good Luck

My mods:

True dual mandrel bent 2.25" exhaust (removed 3rd cat) w/ Dynomax race mufflers. Definitely good.
Jeep HO Cams. Definitely good.
Jeep HO Intake. Definitely good.
70mm TB. Definitely good.
.76V TPS Mod. Better throttle response.
Autolite 3923 Plugs. No pinging and better mileage. Good.
Mobil1 Tri-Syn 5W30 Oil. Still undecided, but I assume it's helping the engine in the long run.

Best mods were JBA shorty headers, but only after I also upgraded to a V8 throttle body. I love my Borla muffler too.
Worst was the braided stainless hose kit- the braids have some defects in them and look kind of chintzy. I'd like to get some real stainless hose like quality plumbing has. Nicest appearance mods were my Boyd Smoothies, clear corners, tinted windows, and removing badges and stickers. Sometimes I like my foglights (they are blue) sometimes I think they look a little ricey.

97 3.9 CC Sport. JBA stainless headers, Borla Turbo XL stainless muffler & tip, 17 x10 Boyd Coddington Smoothies, FMS injectors, V8 TB, Quick D stainless air intake, Have but not Installed yet: 5.9 litre 360

Fave Mod: the "look at this $5 piece of dryer hose I found in the back of the neighbor's garage" ram-air intake...still use it, still works.

Unfave Mod: Sister-in-Law's front bumper meets rear roll pan and tailgate, to the tune of $800 worth of body work and a week's worth of sympathy dinners.
Everyone park carefully.....!

Powerdyne blower - sick power

Fastman 53mm tb - nice little gains

Gibson exhaust - GREAT sound, a little gains
JBA Blue wires - looks great

MSD Cap and 6a-btm ignition - like the boost retard and they look great. Idles and starts better than before.

Hated for various reasons:
SS Grille inserts - VERY poor constuction, the damn lever mechanism they supply to route your hood latch has fallen apart twice, it's a joke. I wouldn't even sell it to anyone. Actually I'm tempted to go to home depot and go for the homebrew look unless anyone can suggest a legitimate product WORTH the 100 bones.

Gibson Headers - For the money I should have gone with the mopar PCM, I noticed zero hp/tq gains from the headers. Regret it BIG-TIME now cause I have no extra money heh.

Airaid intake, sold that for 50 bones.. just cheap construction is all. I only paid 75 for it and had it for a few months so thats not too bad.

Ebay white guages, will never buy delecate and or electronics of this sort from ebay. Just plain cheap and doesn't work very well. I already have another coming from trucktrenz.

Favorite Mods:
Shaker Hood - noticable performance increase with that cool appearance factor :)
Gibson cat-back - noticable performance increase, nice rumble without being obnoxious, but head-turning at WOT
Fastman TB - "snappier" throttle response
WeatherTech Weatherflectors - nice for cutting the noise when you crack the windows, and awesome for driving around when it is raining...no more water on the inside of the door
Raybestos SuperStop Rotors & Pads - very noticable gains in stopping power
Mopar Performance PCM (P5007205) - noticable performance increase
Warn Trans4mer grill gaurd & XD9000i winch - umm...been stuck twice in the CO back-country & the winch saved me! :) In a word: Priceless!
Mopar's molded cargo tray (covers the rear floorboards & under the rear seats) - priceless....they've saved the back carpet from countless spills

So-so Mods:
Warn SDB-160HB driving/spot lights - awesome lights, but rarely used...most of my wheeling is done during the day time, and they are waaaayyyy too bright to be used on the road.
Street Scene chromed speed grill inserts - decent appearance, but the C-clip mounting is kind of cheesy & a PITA
Rancho RS-9000 shocks - the dampening adjustablity is nice

Worst Mod:
JBA Cat4ward Headers - see my Tri-Y post on this board

AMSOIL 5W30, AMSOIL Air&Oil Filter - Got my dealer license, wouldn't sell it if I didn't use it myself.

Helix "Power Tower" -Hands Down WORST Mod, sucked royally, didn't fit like instructions said & it was a PITA to install..Waste of $90.

Flowmaster 40, duals out w/crome tips -Daddy LIKE! my '93 3.9L had glasspacks & dual outs from previous owner, Loud, Obnoxious & annoying popping noises, Flowmaster 40 w/dual outs on the 4.7L V8...mucho bettero.

Step bars -for the short wife.

Spray in bed liner - best investment, Prev owner already had "installed" some major scratches down to metal that were rusting, I do plenty of hauling myself.

Tool Box -mandatory, unable to find anybody who makes one for a QC Dakota, had to use a "Universal" for Mid size & Imports from "Tractor Supply Company", Not too happy with the fit in the bottom and over the wheel wells but it gets the job done.

LT 265/75/16 Durango Radial XTR's -Load rated, 10 Ply for thorns & made by Cooper.. AWESOME traction, barely notice the highway whine over the flowmaster.... Don't let the crackheads at Walmart tell you this size won't fit! I wanted the Liberator A/T's, Still have 1" front clearance @ 45 degree turn. Glad I went to Cooper & spent the extra $100

still werkin on it....... Bumpers w/winch next

Next time a Honduh wants to race
Ask him how many sheets of plywood he can haul?
