I finally got some half-way decent pics of my
truck. It's dropped 2" in the front with cut CC
RT coils and 2" in the back w/Western
Chassis rear shakle mounts. I'm running
255/60/17 Toyos on factory RT wheels. 20%
tint on front windows. Let me know what you
think.

LOOKS GOOD!!

Did it lower a full 2" front and rear?

I've been thinking about lowering my QC. Mine looks level at its stock stance. I've been thinking that if I were to do a 1/3 or 2/4 it would look too low in the rear.

So, I was thinking maybe a 1/2. Then I was thinking, why bother? Then I stopped thinking.....

Hey blakdak01 I love the QC, I have a red 2k QC and was thinking about going with 20's, but I was afraid it wouldn't look right, you prooved me wrong. So no rubbing while turning? I think you should be safe with a little drop goin down, keep us updated :)

it is very close to rubbing in the front with those huge tires and will probably rub slightly if i ower it an inch but hopefully not too bad. i know i can go about 3 in the rear though. i still owe about $400 for the rims and tires and once i pay those off ill lower it. hopefully in a month or two

Justin,

The drop was about $230 total. I paid $70 for
RT CC front spings, $80 for the rear shakle
hangers, and like $25 for front and rear bump
stops (I only used the rears). A good front end
alignment was $65.

I did the install myself. Drilling the rivets out of
the factory spring hangers was a real drag. I'd
guess install time was 3 or 4 hours 'cause I
installed the RT coils, measured, then
removed them, cut them down and reinstalled
them.

I'd estimate labor to install the same set-up at
$250-$300. You could save some labor
money by using a two or three inch rear drop
block. They're much easier to install than the
hangers.

Thanks to all for the great comments.

Later,
Lemmers

BTW, I've since removed the "Dakota Sport"
stickers on the doors and added an Access
tonneau. I'm very happy with both mods.

im just curious how it rides with cut coils??
thats sounds like a great idea to buy r/t coils and cut them down an inch. ill prob do that / 3 inch drop blocks for the rear. yea thats sounds like the cheapest way to drop it!
