I'm not sure what a smoothie is, but Precision makes a steel one without a license plate box. It's straight across. I've got the Precision with the box and a hitch underneath.

do you have site for the precision roll pans?
Thats the type I've been looking for since i got my truck, and all i have been able to find are the fiberglass ones that swoop down a bit for the licence plate.

Does anyone know or have a picture of a rear roll pan (fibregalss) for a 1998 dodge dakota. I've been looking everywhere and i cant find a pic of one from APC anywhere. PLEASE MESSAGE ME BACK if anyone has any info on this. THANKS
