Groundforce kit is great! and affordable. When
you buy em they have two different springs,
one for 8s and one for 6ers. The drop is 2
inches. install was a snap and quality looks
great!
Firm ride, even after shaving 1/2" off of the
bumpstops the truck sits 1/4" off of them. I am
considering shaving some more since i
havent experienced any rubbing.
Im going to sign off before this gets any more
sexual...

On a v8 anyways, the truck would have been
riding on the bumpstops! In the instructions it
tells you to cut 1/2" off of them (front only) to
correct this. I dont think its enuff, i bottom out
hard sometimes, but i cring at the thought of
putting my shocks through too much
compression and busting them up.

I guess that I should of read the instructions, but I took a look and my bump stops are sitting on the frame, bottoms out sometimes, I guess that I should get to cutting.

The 4.7 uses the same springs as the 6 cyl. The V-8 springs are for the 5.2 and 5.9 only because of their cast iron blocks, the 4.7 is aluminum.

the 4.7 has aluminum heads but a cast iron
block. The coils only specify between 8 and
six, not between different 8s.
The drop was a successful two inches.

Do you have a 4.7? Man when i sell mine im
gonna say " oh ya! that's an aluminum block!"

Well it was for my Hotchkis anyway.

Everywhere that I have read , the 4.7 is considered an aluminum engine. I was merly pointing out the weight differences between the 4.7s and the 5.2/5.9s. Thought he might want to consider that.

Do I own a 4.7??? Yea Teamfast, And I have over $7000 dollars in modifications to a 2000 4.7 RC 5 speed 3.92 trac loc from the factory that I paid cash for. So FUK OFF!!!!

1. stickers dont count as modifications
2. just because its a smaller 8 does not mean
it is considered an aluminum engine. Who
considers it ? You? your friends? your town?
mopar? some guys at the bar?
3. Don't be a whiner. You thought it was
aluminum , Consider the fact you made a
mistake.
4. Believe half of what you see, and nothing
you hear. Peace

I didn't attack you, I was imagining the
scenario of myself selling my truck to some
yahoo who heard the 4.7 is an aluminum
block. To be honest, I dont claim to know
everything, and argueing on the internet is
about as useful as running in the special
olympics, even if you win your still a loser!
1. I think you are taking this way too seriously
2. You haven't the faintest clue what I have
done to my truck
3. Ive been flamed, and I just laugh to myself,
cuz maybe I was wrong, and if I was, I wouldn't
flame back.

I've read alot of the posts about the Ground Force 2/3 kit but most of them have been about the 4.7's.

Anyone used this kit on an R/T, if so any problems you ran into? I heard one guy put one on and the angle of the driveshaft was different and was having fluid leaks...maybe he bought the wrong kit?

I just want an aggresive lower look I don't really care about handling & don't really have $1200 to fork out for the Hotchkis kit, so is Ground Force the way to go?

cudashoe- don't measure weither or not someone is inferior based on there bank roll. money is never a deciding factor or somepeople might have expensive wifies/girlfriends or large bills.

teamfast- thats #$%*ed up cracking on a special olympics runner, atleast there willing to try being at a complete disadvantage.

And both ya'll I apreciate the info.
