I like the way the 2/3 drop looks on your quad, and I just gotta ask....

Do the front tires rub ANYWHERE?

Is the ride bone-jarring, coffee-spillin' stiff?

I really hate all that space between the tires and the fenders, but I'm not looking forward to drastically changing the way my truck rides.

If I hear good news, though, I think I'll do the 2/3.

BTW.... how much $$$$$?

Thanks Broeheem

The Hotchkis kit has been on for about 2 months and I have not had a rub yet. We have some pretty rough roads around here and I've hit some good size bumps. But no rubbing. Of course nothing off-road.

The ride is firmer than stock was. It's about as firm as my Camaro SS. Certainly acceptable and not bone jarring to me. My wife drives it sometimes, in fact she likes the way it drives now, says it handles better.

Personally I think the Bilsteins, which are very expensive, make the difference. It was hard to part with that much cash for them. However, now that they are on, I wouldn't trade them for anything else.

The entire kit listed on the Hotchkis site is about $1300 plus shipping. I got a great deal for more than $100 less from Randy Pile at:

World Wide Performance Parts

If your serious about the kit give him a call at 718-478-1106. He is very knowledgeable.

There are a lot of less expensive ways to get the same look, but not with the same handling performance. For instance you can go with drop springs for $100 and blocks for $50 and get the same look while standing still. But I doubt the truck will handle as well.
