I plan on dropping my truck 3" front and 4" in the rear real soon. I always thought I wanted the 2-3" kit but i think I want to go a lil bit lower.
I plan on going with the coils up front but what should I use in the rear.
I also plan on using DJM or Belltech, not some cheesy brand.
How much do shackles and hangers give you....I'm thinking 2" then I could use a 2" block right...?

I want to stay away from the whole leaf spring because of the cost.
I plan on running Edelbrocks too.

thanks..

If your using coils I would be careful, because the DJM coils don't always drop it 3". As far as shackles and hangers, you can get up to 5" out of them so you won't need to use a block.

would the belltech coils give it the full 3 inches?
Or what other brand should I look for?

Thanks

I don't know about the belltech coils. I have not heard of anyone using them for dakotas. If your looking for a 3" drop the closes I can think of is the Hotchkis coils, there 2.5", email them to verify. I'm switching my suspension up front to those in about a week. I didn't like the control arms because you lose some turning radius.
